Florida, located on the south-eastern part of US has a warmer climate than other US states. Famous for its big theme parks and of course, South Beach.

A well known theme park and perhaps the best in the state is Seaworld which is in Orlando. Here, tourists can meet Shamu the dolphin and other sea animals. Disney World, Islands of Adventure and Kennedy Space Center are other well visited theme parks.

There are a lot of beaches in the state's northeast, east and west coasts. The Crescent Beach, Pontevedra and Jacksonville are the top rated ones in the North Eastern Coast. Florida's western coast has small islands with sandy beaches. Treasure Coast beaches on the east have spacious and sandy beaches. Some of these beaches are protected areas where turtles lay their eggs.

Florida also has green spaces where one can enjoy walking and sight seeing. A certified must-see is Florida Everglades, a National Park and a world Heritage Site. It is a wetland where different species of birds, amphibians and reptiles thrive. Another interesting site is Florida Caverns State Park. Inside the caves, one can go swimming, canoeing, fishing and other activites. Rainbow river at Dunellon is another place to visit, with its small caves and springs along the banks. Lake Ruth is a favorite picnic site at Bartow. Wilderness Preserve is a spring-fed lake in North Tampa.

For the shopaholics, Cocoa Village, John's Pass Village, Downtown Fernandina and Renninger's Twin markets is where you can go bargain-hunting.
